Finding Home represents the diversity of New York in front of the camera and behind the camera. In front of the camera is more obvious to see - it's told through the lens of a group of women neighbors of all ethnicities. Their tenacity, humor, cantankerousness, and yes - sashay! - are the stuff dreams are made of, especially for Ella in her time of need. Behind the camera was equally diverse and largely women of color.
Finding Home is a story of women neighbors who love each other and look out for each other. There is also some lovely romance along the way. As the world becomes smaller and more diverse, if we're lucky, Finding Home is what it will look like, enjoy!
